2/1/06 Early AM: Fore!

Rick was up at the crack of dawn for a quick golf game at the local country club withVivian. We teed off before sunrise, into a fog, but by the 4th hole, could actually track our balls’ flights and appreciate the beautiful layout of the Arnold Palmer-designed course. Rick’s caddy was both seeing-eye dog and expert GPS system, helping Rick navigate the course from a number of previously unchartered locations. We had many laughs, a few pars, and even a birdie during our nine-hole walk in the meadow, before picking up Sunny and heading back to the hotel for breakfast and a 10am start to the day’s sightseeing.
